@​nftlily  spoke alongside panelists from Polygon Technology, BlockFi  Women in Blockchain Asia (WIBA), to discuss use cases of Web 3. 

**Some interesting use cases: **

**Closer to heart and women causes:  **
*Pain point - * Rape cases are so high in India that police have a directive not to record when women report crimes. But if you don’t report, you can’t channel the help to the women who need.
*In comes Blockchain - *Women report the crimes there anonymously and blockchain links the women directly to  NGOs to help ❤️

We have been holding off on this installment both due to not having a serviceable platform to conduct the market along with the current state of crypto/NFTs.

We can do this in a more informal way until seaport from opensea comes along for a better experience but ultimately it is something that we want to launch prior to Pixies World.

As discussed and voted on previously.

"Pixie market beta will be primarily offered on a limited basis at first in exchange for higher value NFTs such as WOWs and will be managed by “The Team” (Lily, Chane and Konop) but not available to them (IE, no team members will be able to utilize the pixie market during beta). Always 20% of the vault value will be placed on the pixie market and prices will be determined by “The Team” on a trial basis and up for changes at any time."

With that being said, we do want to include the DAO's vote on determining what assets to put up for the market. The @Team will choose 4 items, the one with the highest vote will be put in the market to be exchanged for WoW Pixies.

To start, the @Team will decide on a base number of WoW Pixies needed to be exchanged for said asset and we will allow a week long period for holders to bid (number of WoW Pixies). The DAO had a great discussion surrounding this purchase the last 24 hours but ultimately the vote was in favor of purchasing WoW #1460, an amazing night goddess that shows our conviction in the top women led project within this space. It hit the vault and lowered our liquidity by purchasing for 25 ETH but luckily the royalty WoW we own will continue feeding the vault with eth in the coming months.

She is an absolute beauty and when starting this DAO, it seemed like an unfeasible purchase based on the previous price point for a night goddess.

We want to thank each of you for participating in the first planning stage of Pixies World! It has been an incredible couple of weeks discussing the creative and strategic direction for the project. 

The WOW Pixies Team will now be reviewing all contributions and votes. Keep an eye on #📢│announcements  for project updates and next steps. 

We would like to encourage everyone to take another pass through #🌎│pixies-world  and all the threads to vote for your favorite ideas. Doing this qualifies you for a special POAP that confirms your contribution to the project, the first (or one of the first) DAO-generated NFT collections. This POAP (as well as others from WOW Pixies)  will have utility in the near future as we seek to reward active members of our community. 👀 

For those of you who have participated in the Pixies World Challenge, you can now claim the POAP. If this is your first time claiming a POAP using a QR code, you will need to: 

1) On your phone, download the mobile app from poap.xyz 
2) On a different screen/computer, pull up the QR code by clicking the link in the X channel
3) On your phone, open the app and press the Mint button, then select Scan QR 
4) Using both devices, scan the QR code 
5) The app will ask you to play a brief game to verify yourself as a human 😉
6) Your POAP will then appear in your collection. If you want to mint it on blockchain for a gas fee, you can, but it is not necessary
