Good Morning Ducks!

I know it’s been a while since we’ve had an announcement and my apologies, that’s on me.

  The question on everyone’s mind is, “so what’s up with SupDucks?”. Well, while things are much quieter than in the past, we’re still plugging away — though development on new things is going to be much slower for a bit. However, we fully hope to return to the same pace at some point in the future.   

We do have a couple of things we’ve been working on that we’re really excited about and I’ll drop a link below.   

1. The ending of DuckGod is still in the works and we should hopefully have an update on that soon.   

2. We’ve also been exploring development in the web2 space, as that is still the vehicle to get our IP exposed to a mainstream audience. To that end - we’ve been working on a series of experiences in Roblox. The devs working on this project have really captured the art style of SupDucks and it makes for a really unique feel compared to typical games on that platform. Moreover, in terms of a “metaverse” experience, I think SupDucks fans will really enjoy seeing the  universe in such a compelling, playable format. All the little Easter Eggs are really neat too. 

  Currently we have the main hub which is the boardwalk come to life. The experience here is somewhat GTA - lite, i.e. build homes, complete jobs, earn money, pvp, etc. This world is still in private beta. Additionally we’ve launched a stand alone game that is in public beta. The objective here is to run a pizza joint. This includes servicing customers, ordering ingredients, assembly, firing pizzas and the like. You’ll also see some familiar faces popping up in the restaurant too 🙂 The items and money you earn in this world will be transferable to the main hub when it’s live.   

Also, I want to address some of the tension I’ve seen in the Disco. And again, my apologies - until October is over, I’m spending 11-14 hour days at the farm every single day and don’t have much time or energy to pop in and tend to the shenanigans lol. 

  I will say this - we need to realize that we’re all people here and more importantly friends and so it’s been a little disheartening to read some of the things that have been said and witness some of the angry back and forth between community members. Remember, first and foremost, we are a community of fans with a shared interest in this IP. We should maintain a space that is enjoyable and fun for everyone involved. There’s nothing worse than coming in after a hard day and you want to unplug and hang with your fellow ducks and all you see is acrimony and drama. I think we can do better and we should do better.   

So, I’m pleading with all of you - let’s try to treat one another with respect, act with humility, understanding and empathy and just try to have a good time.

It appears that there has been some confusion surrounding the cutoff time for late entries.

**Once the battle starts there will be a 1 week period for users to enter the battle "late":**

- The Join/Entry Fee will be increased from .01  --> .03
- All purchasable armor values will stay the same price (it's hard-coded into the contract)
- Everything is still added into the total ETH Pot

*This mechanic allows us to make sure we extend the experience to as many people who want to play as possible, giving folks plenty of time to join the fun. The increased entry fee adjusts for the increase in odds for late entries. Pick your path wisely!* <a:HypeKingFrog:893031462322978836>

Today marks another important milestone in the DuckGod journey, and the team at MegaVolt is extremely proud to announce and present the beginning of Phase Two! 

In early March, we rolled out the initial phase of the experience - a video highlighting the overall lore of the SupDucks creation story and an opportunity for the community to visit the temple. Upon visiting the temple, users could solve a puzzle and mint a DuckGod Clave which grants holders the opportunity to proceed to the next phase. 

Armed with your DuckGod Clave, you're now able to make it past the temple gate and into the cave. In the cave you’ll find it dark and mysterious, but with the help of your trusty flashlight, you’ll be able to navigate your way through and onto the next step. Keep your eyes peeled though, you’ll need to pay close attention in order to complete the objective. 

If you find your way out of the cave, you’ll be presented with a hint of what’s to come and it’s going to be epic!
