**__VANDUL HEIST UPDATE__**

Hey Vanduls,

Apologies for the MIA. After the Heist began we had to lay low (AKA GAS WAS TERRIBLE) to cool off and stay away from the Corrupt Government.

We havent finalised a date yet there will be a haul update from the heist. There will be another Burn however this will be the final one & will allow you to claim rewards for the event.
We halted the rest of the Burns as Gas was approximately 30-80 dollars this month

**__FURTHER DETAILS RE BURN FOR BACKPACKS__**

As most of you are aware I have said that you will need to burn as many tools as possible for backpacks.

Ill keep it as simpl as possible without leaking my plans for "The Heist"

You will need a backpack of any kind in order to get ANY rewards.. Additionally you will need to burn your tools for backpackks so that you have limited tools left over.. When the final burn event does occur you will realise why its so important -  It directly relates to the level of rewards you will recieve...

Previously we addressed the minor issues that were stopping Vanduls from getting their hands on backpacks ahead of the heist.
We now have a way we believe that works in the best interests of as many Vanduls as possible and still links back to the early alpha we provided.
Moving forward the equations for each of the backpacks are

Burlap Sack = 1 Glove + 1 Baseball Bat 
Satchel = 1 Glove + 1 Torch + 1 Bolt Cutters 
Backpack = 1 Bolt Cutter + 1 Torch + 1 Baseball bat 
Duffel Bag = 1 Glove, 1 Torch 1 Bolt Cutter 1 Baseball bat, 1 Walkie Talkie , 1 Signal

***What about those who have already burnt their tools and claimed backpacks before this issue was identified?***

We have a list of wallets that have already taken part in the burn event for backpacks. If any of these wallets claimed enough backpacks that exceeded 25 Blueprints in Value, they will receive an additional supplementary reward.

***What if we have left over tools and / or cant burn backpacks for tools?***

If you have left over tools after your burn to claim backpacks, please do not worry. There will be an opportunity in the future when the heist begins to utilize both backpacks and tools to complete the ultimate. We do recommend getting a backpack of some kind ahead of “The Heist “final chapter if you wish to guarantee yourselves some rewards.

If there are any further issues please #open-a-ticket  and one of the team, mods or myself will assist you!

After some internal investigation, it is clear I have made a mistake...

Within the next 12-16hrs we will be putting a temporary hold on the **__Burn2Claim Event__**

I have miscalculated a portion of the requirements for the Burn 2 Claim and the recipes for the backpacks are incorrect (Specificially relating to Blueprints)
These will be adjusted accordingly over the next 24-48hrs. I am really sorry for making such errors.

We will re-open the event once we are 100% sure that previous statements from myself and the rest of the team regarding suggested amounts be attainable through these new recipes. 

***But what If I have already burned all my tools // bought more BPs to satisfy the equations you previously had said***

*Before this post was made, if you have:*
- Bought additional blueprints to satisfy the original backpack recipes in excess of 25 Blueprints in total

We will be looking at ways to reconcile with you personally in the form of more rewards attached to your 0x address.

There is an issue with the way the contract creates the Meta Data URL for the NFTs and therefor OpenSea is unable to load them. 

Since we release the first round of burn, I have been in contract with them to attempt to get a fix put in place. Unfortunately, nothing has been organized at this time. 

We have a few things that we have put in place to help alleviate the confusion around token IDs:
1. /nft-information - a command that can be run in #🎨│token-explorer and will display information about each token in the entire ecosystem
2. The images the @​HyphyAUS has posted above from Zombfyd

I will also work tonight to try and push an update to our burn website that displays the token IDs & how many you current only in a better format. This should be done within the next 24 to 48 hours.

**__THE NEXT CHAPTER: BACKPACKS__**

Hey Vanduls,

Over the last several weeks we have created an on-chain experience that has required a lot of thought in order to further develop the story of the Vanduls and their plan to break into the corrupt government headquarters that was once a research laboratory in the heart of the city. 
The next step for some will be tough because you didn’t move hastely -  We did warn you… but more on that shortly.
For most of you you’ll be required to follow the plan and make some decisions as to whether you pack light or pack more. 
You can do this heist alone BUT if you wish to get your hands on the motherload your going to need a way to get your tools through the sewers and inside to where the score is. 

For those that didn’t listen to us, getting rid of intel wont be so simple. You have a lot of information that needs to be destroyed ahead of the event. So, if you want additional tools they will require more blueprints burned then in the original burn 2 claim event.

||Burlap Sack: Anyone thinks you're rocking up to a 90s heist but realistically your arent gonna be able to fit much room for some gloves and probably a baseball bat

Satchel bag: Look, its reliable and its gonna be able to conceal some gloves a torch and maybe a slightly larger item but thats about it

Backpack: Now we are talking, Two main fences and padlocks to break means room for the "meatier" tools. Also got room for the essentials as well as carry another Vanduls tools if needed

Duffel Bag: You are going to need this to carry all the electrical equipment. Gloves are a neccessity - you cant do this alone and definitely not without something to hide your prints. Signal jammer also required if you even want a chance of delaying the governments response times||

Hey Vanduls,

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an important update regarding our plans for the development of our Street Melt Ecosystem. As you may be aware, we had previously announced our intention to heavily invest in the development of an on-chain experience for all Vanduls in our collection. However, in light of recent uncertainty surrounding erc-20 tokens and the increased scrutiny from regulatory bodies such as the SEC, we have decided to shift our focus towards an off-chain staking and off-chain solution.

We understand that this represents a significant change from our original plans, and we would like to assure you that this decision has not been taken lightly. Our primary concern is to ensure the safety and security of our community and to create a sustainable, long-term solution that benefits everyone involved.

***Street Melt Society Collection Changes***
In addition to these changes, we have also made the decision to reduce the size of our collection from 4201 NFTs to 4444 NFTs. 
 This is a reduction further from initially **7,777** -> *5,555* - > 4,444 (1,111) reduction 
We are confident that this move will further strengthen the value of our collection and provide greater benefits to our community members.

We understand that such decisions may not always be popular, but we firmly believe that they are necessary to ensure the continued growth and success of the Street Melt Society Collection. As such, we have decided not to hold a community vote on this matter. We feel that we are working in the best interests of all Vanduls.

Finally, we would like to assure you that any remaining NFTs that are currently not in circulation (held in the team wallet) will be dispersed through various means, which we will announce at a later date.

I have obtained some intel from someone we have on the inside of The Heist.

To complete the heist, our insider recommends that biggest possible score will require a solid 25 blueprints

At the very least, they think 15 will get us in and out of the building unscathed. 

You can complete The Heist more than once and there will be other avenues you can take during the heist with different outcomes. (Having more than enough blueprints can award you a variety of rewards)
