While every month is Pride Month for us at NYB, this month is especially important to pay homage to those who have sacrificed and fought for the freedom and equality we have today. The fact that Georgia and I were able to celebrate our relationship and get married earlier this year, surrounded by all our family and friends, was only due to the efforts of those who have fought for the rights to equality and acceptance. Having said that, there is still so much work to be done for there to be true equality and to stop the discrimination and persecution of LGBTQIA+ people around the world.

Whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or an ally, it takes a village to make impactful change and when we stand together, we’re never alone. We thank you all for using your voices and standing up for the equality that you believe in, and also for your support so that we can celebrate, support and represent the LGBTQIA+ community within Web3.

LAUNCH OF Collectle.io

We are super excited to announce the launch of our new NFT Marketplace, Collectle, which I have built for all NFT Collections.

Collectle has been a major passion project - I'm tired of seeing creators, in particular creators of smaller NFT collections and 1/1 artists, be messed around by the likes of Blur and Opensea. 

Collectle.io enforces full royalties. It aggregates listings from other NFT marketplaces with the exception of Blur. We do not aggregate from Blur as Blur's current set up is built for zero royalties, whereas Opensea and other marketplaces does optional royalties so the "conversation" with the smart contract is open to add in missing royalties. If Blur changes this, we can add Blur easily.

For many creators royalties are an important revenue stream. I understand that some people argue that royalties shouldn't be an important revenue stream - my view is that this is argument is unethical. Many other projects, collections and artists don't have the means for additional revenue streams, this doesn't mean that they are "bad" projects or collections. I would like to see where the "leading" NFT Projects would be without royalties before royalties were stripped. This industry is in it's infancy and I am here to help the underdogs to continue on their journeys within this space.

Without royalties many founders will disappear - please note that this isn't the case for us because we do have different income/revenue streams. I can't sit back and watch this whole industry go to shit. I can't watch people lose faith. I also understand that many smaller projects don't have the means to create their own marketplaces either. Yes there are developers that can build marketplaces for projects, but these cost a lot. With no revenue, how are projects supposed to pay these developers, if they don't have the skills in-house?

So I've taken on the responsibility myself. I've built the solution for everyone and finally an NFT marketplace that isn't run by trigger happy individuals, that is built for creators, that is built for all the right reasons now exists.

This is where our amazing community comes in. We need to roar about Collectle. I'm in touch with many other founders who love what I've built and are about to start promoting it, but I ask you our community, to roar so loud about this.

It’s with a very heavy heart that our team will undergo a full restructure resulting in Georgia & I being the remaining members in addition to Morghana who maintains our Instagram and the wonderful LostMilk who will remain on to support you all on Discord and various tasks in the back end of the business until we are ready to hire new members.

This decision has been something that pains us greatly. Our incredible team has been by our sides the entire journey, from the excitement of the mint to the day to day shenanigans. We are forever grateful for their hard work and friendships we have gained on this journey.

This is the first time that Georgia and I have ever been in a situation like this. We are used to operating businesses where we have more control of the demand, growing brands and scaling to great heights. We are not used to dealing with impacts that are out of our control such as the bear market and being in the middle of a war of NFT Marketplaces who no longer honour the creators. We are also incredibly private people at times, but we feel that our community deserves this transparency.

With this update Georgia and I will become even more hands on. We have made changes to other endeavours in our lives that will allow us to put in the appropriate amount of time to kick ass in 2023. We will continue our efforts that are happening behind the scenes with the development of some exciting partnerships, as well as the development of our third roadmap which will centre around building revenue streams outside of royalties. Georgia and I are being recognised as impactful individuals in this space and a lot of opportunities are coming our way for Not Your Bro.

Our goal for Not Your Bro our main area of focus is to establish ourselves as a prominent partner for brands and businesses when it comes to LGBTQIA+ pride and empowerment of women and non-binary people. We are already in some very exciting conversations that we’ll be able to share more about very soon. Yes, this is in addition to the PUMA 1/1 collab 🙂

I apologise to members who will be affected by this update. Ensuring a safe space discord that is staffed 24/7 was a large part of ethos and I can’t help but feel extremely saddened that we aren’t able to sustain this. As business people - we have to look at the numbers and see that each expense is being sufficiently utilised, and given the change in majority of people’s behaviours and the market conditions, we as always have to pivot and invest our resources in areas where the project will see the most success. We have no alternative but to action this update to guarantee the future of Not Your Bro and allow us to continue to make Not Your Bro a success for our holders, our community and the communities we represent.

This decision has been something that pains us greatly. Our incredible team has been by our sides the entire journey, from the excitement of the mint to the day to day shenanigans. We are forever grateful for their hard work and friendships we have gained on this journey.

This is the first time that Georgia and I have ever been in a situation like this. We are used to operating businesses where we have more control of the demand, growing brands and scaling to great heights. We are not used to dealing with impacts that are out of our control such as the bear market and being in the middle of a war of NFT Marketplaces who no longer honour the creators. We are also incredibly private people at times, but we feel that our community deserves this transparency.

With this update Georgia and I will become even more hands on. We have made changes to other endeavours in our lives that will allow us to put in the appropriate amount of time to kick ass in 2023. We will continue our efforts that are happening behind the scenes with the development of some exciting partnerships, as well as the development of our third roadmap which will centre around building revenue streams outside of royalties. Georgia and I are being recognised as impactful individuals in this space and a lot of opportunities are coming our way for Not Your Bro.

Our goal for Not Your Bro our main area of focus is to establish ourselves as a prominent partner for brands and businesses when it comes to LGBTQIA+ pride and empowerment of women and non-binary people. We are already in some very exciting conversations that we’ll be able to share more about very soon. Yes, this is in addition to the PUMA 1/1 collab 🙂

I apologise to members who will be affected by this update. Ensuring a safe space discord that is staffed 24/7 was a large part of ethos and I can’t help but feel extremely saddened that we aren’t able to sustain this. As business people - we have to look at the numbers and see that each expense is being sufficiently utilised, and given the change in majority of people’s behaviours and the market conditions, we as always have to pivot and invest our resources in areas where the project will see the most success. We have no alternative but to action this update to guarantee the future of Not Your Bro and allow us to continue to make Not Your Bro a success for our holders, our community and the communities we represent.

Dear our Community,

Over the past year, we’ve shared one hell of a ride - filled with so many ups and not many downs. It’s been absolutely incredible. What started out as a mission to make our mark in Web3 and prove that NFTs can be for good, has led us on a journey that’s taken us from our dining table to the stage of NFT NYC where we won our award for Most Impactful Charity NFT Project for our incredible contributions to non-profits. Over the space of several weeks I went from drawing on my ipad one sunday morning in my PJs, to my art and movement being shared by Vogue.

Every single step of the way we’ve been determined to make a difference and focused on creating waves in this industry. Our backgrounds in growing businesses, branding, marketing, development and most importantly social impact has allowed us to shape Not Your Bro into being something more than just an NFT project. We’re not just a project for everyone, but we are a project for good. For the LGBTQIA+ community. For Women. For non-binary people. And importantly, for our allies. Without allies who stand by our side whether it be in day to day life or by our side in this world we call Web3, I can’t express how much it means. I’ve noticed the difference in myself. I hold my head higher now. I stand proud now.

Not Your Bro is more than an NFT Project to me. It’s my soul, my passion and something that has changed myself on a personal level as an individual.

Whereas I state that Not Your Bro is more than an NFT Project to me, at the end of the day it has started out as an NFT Project and has sustained itself throughout the bear market. There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where we haven’t given our absolute all to Not Your Bro. From bringing out countless utilities, releasing our own platforms like Hired3.io and Whatthenft.co, launching our Pickle Points and HQ, establishing ourselves as a protected brand, partnering with Web2 giants, creating a separate movement to highlight mental health awareness - the list really does go on. Again I’ll say it, we’ve truly given our absolute all - and this will never, ever stop.

As I’m sure many NFT Projects are doing right now after sustaining a year in the bear market, as well as the addition of royalties being not honoured, we’re having to reassess our expenses to ensure the sustainability and longevity of Not Your Bro. Right now, our largest expense is our Discord server. We pride ourselves on paying our team at Australian Standard Rates. We value our team, their time and their skills immensely.

We have come to the difficult decision to no longer staff our discord 24/7. Our Discord will remain open and we have many security measures in place to ensure our Discord will remain a safe place for all. Our ticketing system will also remain open.

As we announced last week Georgia and I tied the knot a couple of weeks ago. It was a lovely day spent with family and friends. The wonderful @​Marcie 👑 was also there - thankfully she didn't bring a cucumber to this meet up.

For many of you, we've all spent the last year of our lives together in the NYB community, so wanted to release a photo from our special day with our community and the wider world. When Georgia & I first got together over 8 years ago now, marriage equality wasn't legal here in Australia. Thankfully the Aussie government made changes (following a ridiculous public vote on whether to allow marriage equality or not, but let's not dwell on the shit government does because we'd be here all bloody day) and same sex couples have been able to get married in Australia for a few years now.

With the sharing of this photo we wanted to thank you all. Thank you for being a part of what we're creating here. I've spent many of my younger years hiding, I was the "typical teenager" hiding in my room but thankfully during this time taught myself a lot of the skills I use today. Not Your Bro has given Georgia and I the platform to stand proud and to represent. We're both very private people but Not Your Bro was no accident. We were both ready for this whirlwind - where we can be a voice, where we can be proud, where we can represent, where we can fight for visibility and most importantly where we can support.

Once you have claimed your Pickle Points for all applicable wallets, you may want to consolidate the Points into one wallet!

This can be done in the same way that you transfer ETH from one address to another.

If however your points are being transferred from a Ledger or alternative cold wallet device, then the transfer will need to be executed through Etherscan. This is due to Ledger only recognising a fixed list of ERC20 tokens to display. This means your tokens still exist on your Ledger but can’t be viewed.

Just a little note for anyone checking in to see what seems to be the latest trend with fake Twitter profiles 

Replacing things like ‘l’ with capital ‘i’ is one of ways in which this is being done to make the @ look authentic 

Another common one is 2x v to make it look like a w 

Always check for authenticity and a tip to do this is typing the handle that you want in the search bar as opposed to only part of it 

Also coping and pasting the handle and letting your cursor show you the separation of letters (in the event of the Vs pretending to be Ws)

Hello @everyone !

Our much anticipated Pickle Points shop is nearly here. Over the past week we've been testing the contract and experience for our holders with vaulting their NFTs, we've also been refining the user experience for our Pickle Points shop. These are not the first tests we've done - once the mechanics were set up we went through a series of various tests, the first of which occurs in whats called a Testnet environment. Once this was migrated over to Mainnet, the transfer estimate did not match and when we saw the totals our community was going to have to pay, we knew we were going to have to reconsider our strategy.

We've had many long discussions regarding the costs to our community for vaulting their NFTs. As our contract facilitates 4 different collections - Not Your Bro, Not Your Demons, Queen of Roses and Queen of Diamonds, we've found that the costs occurred to vault NFTs is higher than we would have liked. As always transparency is key and we always put ourselves in the shoes of our holders. The cost for vaulting 14 NFTs from 3 collections was $38 USD. We believe that this is too high especially considering the current value of ETH and low gas.

So, after much deliberation, we have decided to pivot the strategy with our vaulting process. 

Rather than our holders vault their NFTs, we will be launching Pickle Points Pay Days. Based on your holding quantity you will be able to claim Pickle Points without the requirement to vault your NFTs. The requirement to have not sold your NFTs will still be in place, but we will be managing the allocation off chain.

The value of Pickle Points per piece will still be the same :

10 x Pickle Points per Not Your Bro per day
5 x Pickle Points per Not Your Demons per day
2 x Pickle Points per Queen of Roses per day
1 x Pickle Points per Queen of Diamonds per day

The first Pickle Points Pay Day will be backdated as promised, so you will be able to claim your Pickle Points balance based on how many NFTs you've held from the above collections, multiplied by the points per collection, multiplied by the number of days you've held - between 31st July 2022 and 25th October 2022.

At this time, we are asking our community the frequency of Pickle Points Pay Days. Where you'll be able to connect your wallet, see your balance and claim your Pickle Points (on chain). Claiming Pickle Points will incur gas fees. From our tests this is typically between $1 and $2 USD.

The positive in all of this is that your NFTs will stay exactly where they are - meaning all your roles on discord and accessibility to all the wonderful token gated utility will remain. The requirement to potentially move NFTs from your ledger has also been removed. So it's a win win for our community 🙂

I also need to mention here Opensea's recent royalties announcement. I'm sure many of you are aware that Opensea have announced they intend to enforce exclusivity in exchange for creator royalties for all new collections currently being released. For existing collections we have till December for them to come up with a solution otherwise the royalties will be 0% on all NFTs sold on their platform. For me as an artist, it's a huge kick in the teeth, but more importantly for all the good that we have been able to do through our donations over the course of the last 8 months, this is where it hits hardest!

We are joining the fight alongside other Project Founders to ensure our voices are heard regarding this matter, which in turn will help us to continue great value to our community through all of our utility including our Pickle Points program.

As of this morning we have deployed the contract for testing – this includes making sure the accrued points can be claimed, the NFTs correctly accrue once vaulted, and the Pickle Shop works the way an ecommerce shop should.

As usually we want to ensure that our UX is the best it can be so while this testing is happening, NFTs will no longer be accruing points and will resume once we open HQ up and the Vault goes live!

**CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF DECENTRAWEB - THE FUTURE OF DOMAINS**

In other news with Decentraweb, I am extremely excited to share with you all that following our conversations with the CEO of Decentraweb.org, Michael Calce, I was asked if I'd be interested in the role of Creative Director for Decentraweb. I'm sure you'll agree that this is an awesome opportunity to join what I believe to be the new leader in blockchain/web3 domains. I'm joining a star studded team of experts across all areas of technology, development, marketing and security where I'll be working alongside incredible (and very lovely) people from HP, Microsoft, Go Daddy, Trust Swap, Coin Market Cap, Intel, Bloomberg,  & T-Mobile. My role as Creative Director here will allow me to help shape the identity of Decentraweb. I'm developing a new look for their websites and marketing and helping to elevate their brand and technology visually.

This is the part where I have to make something SUPER clear. I am NOT going anywhere. Not Your Bro is an extension of my soul. I will still be and will forever be an ACTIVE Co-Founder of Not Your Bro, I'll still be kicking ass bringing so much for our community, pushing for awareness and growth, and all the other amazing things I get up to as being Co-Founder of NYB. No one will notice anything different but I must add, being in a position like this at Decentraweb will bring a lot of awareness and opportunity for NYB. Obviously also not forgetting that Georgia and Marcie are here as NYB's other Co-Founder and Project Manager respectively. We truly are a kickass team supported by all of our other wonderful team members who cover managing our instagram, partnerships and collaborations admin, and also our incredible moderators.

You've all been a part of everything with me. Whether you were part of the first 20 people who followed NYB on Twitter, were there for that weird as Twitter space following our reveal when I was in total shock, you may have killed me in Rumble, we've probably laughed together, we've roared together, we've stuck our middle finger up to the world and shouted I AM NOT YOUR BRO. 

So buckle up sunshines. I'm going to be repping that NYB roar through this next journey and I can't wait to share it all with you.

For all those wallet hawks, you may have noticed that we secured our own blockchain domains through Decentraweb.org. Not Your Bro is now the proud owners of .nyb, .nyd, .notyourbro & .notyourdemons Web3 Domains. Decentraweb's incredible technology is something I came across a couple of weeks ago and was truly blown away. I initially discovered Decentraweb because I was looking for a way to provide our community with Web3 domains. We own notyourbro.eth and we were considering issuing yourname.notyourbro.eth but it just seemed a bit lame... I wanted something better for our community. Something like yourname.notyourbro - AND THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GETTING! WAHOO!

Decentraweb are currently working on a solution for us to allow access to all of our holders to secure their own .notyourbro Web3 domain. This means you will be able to register say imdefinitely.notyourbro or 777.notyourbro or whatever you feel like. You can assign this address to your wallet just like you can with an .eth address and as Decentraweb release more of their amazing technology, you'll be able to do so much more. So we're officially announcing our partnership now, it's super exciting and we're the first NFT project to do this, potentially the first NFT project to see this opportunity and the first project to officially partner with Decentraweb... 👀👀👀

Decentraweb is unlocking limitless opportunity not just within Web3 but within Web2 through their technology. Anyone can register any Top-Level Domain such as .wencamry or .yournamehere - we are no longer limited to .eth or .crypto or the others that are currently offered. Decentraweb allows you to ultimately become your own ENS where you can purchase a Top Level Domain and then stake it, allowing others to mint a sub-level domain, for example im.yournamehere or hello.yournamehere or 666.yournamehere which in turn you set the price for bringing in passive income should someone mint a sub domain from your top level domain. You can also pay to mint from other already staked top-level domains where their holders have done just as I mentioned. Hello everyone!

Just updating everyone with our Pickle Points Program and centralised platform. Didn't want to ping everyone or make it a major announcement because we've got another announcement we're making later today and I didn't want to over ping everyone.

For those wondering about our Pickle Points Program, the portal/platform that we've built is incredible if I don't mind saying so myself. When we set out on our adventures to bring our community a centralised platform we were adamant in our vision to ensure nothing but the best for our community. As a new adventure and plagued with wanting to deliver the highest of standards, we realise that we underestimated the amount of time to ensure everything is perfect. I apologise for this delay ❤️ ❤️

The platform is ready now and it has been for a while. We're just fine combing through all areas of our Pickle Points program currently. Back dating our Pickle Points is a big task and something we have to ensure we get right. No one wants to not receive the Pickle Points that they are rightfully due for being such an amazing supporter. 

The contract is being designed to allow all four collections (NYB, NYD, QOR, and QOD) to be activated through one transaction - obviously the more collections and the more pieces that are included in this one transaction, the more blocks that need to be approved and therefore the higher the gas cost. Our few weeks spent testing this component has been a deliberate and intentional activity to optimise the contract as much as possible.

As we have shared with you previously, Squizzle is being offered to certain projects in exchange for their NFTs to feature in the Pickle Points Shop, in combination with NFTs we will be purchasing over the coming week or so. 

For the more technologically advanced holders who are wondering - we nominated an onchain solution for the tokenomics as we found through our assessment that offchain tokenomics don't feature the same transparency or security that onchain does and being all about these two topics, we wanted to ensure that we didn't fail to bring you this as a consistent ethos. In addition to this, what many might not know is that offchain tokenomics still require a verification and processing through a 3rd party, and so what may not look like a high upfront transaction cost is actually a backend cost that whittles away at the inventory that would otherwise be available.

We can tell you that we are so very close now and with everything going according to plan from here, we should have double the celebrations happening at Halloween!

As I'm sure you're all very aware we're all about empowering participants of Web3 especially our holders. The launch of https://hired3.io has been super exciting but we have seen a limited uptake from our community - which isn't a bad thing! With this in mind, we want to be able to spread our reach not only for brand awareness of Not Your Bro but to help this industry as a whole.

Hired3 is an awesome platform which has been built in house by yours truly. It has the ability to really elevate the level of professionalism within Web3 recruitment on a much larger scale. Giving back is in our blood - it's why we pledge 10% of all proceeds to non-profits, but giving back isn't just about helping non-profits, it's about helping others too. As Project Founders in this market, I believe we all need to play our part to helping the industry as a whole. I see Project Founders complain of the bear market, lack of adoption, lack of retention, but what are us Project Founders doing to help? The answer for most is nothing. 

We have made the decision to open up Hired3 to all. This has been something that we've been strategising on for a few weeks now. Our thinking behind opening it up to all, is that well firstly we want to help this industry - its in need of TLC. If we can help everyone to further their Web3 opportunities then we'll help adoption, retention and experiences within this industry.

By opening it up, we'll hopefully see larger usage of Hired3 by all - whether you're a holder or not. This will help the awareness of our community and also the support of other projects who will promote Hired3 to their communities. As Hired3 grows, our focus will then shift back to our holders. I can't help but think about the opportunity with our holders receiving featured placements, seperate categories and promotion.

As with anything in life, it's imperative to pivot when you need to. We're excited to announce this publicly and work on a campaign for growth of Hired3.

I'm excited to announce a new update to https://Squizzle.io

I've noticed a few holders purchasing prints of their NFTs from various NFT printing companies that add a cute lil QR code linking to their NFT on Opensea. So I've devved out a new builder on Squizzle where you can create prints of any NFT with a QR code linking to the Opensea for that NFT - works best for square NFTs and only Ethereum NFTs currently.

You can easily add in any contract address and token ID, hit create and download your NFT with your QR code on. You can use this QR code link to show off your NFTs to your friends and family. Oh and if they're like UM WOT NFT? You can just send them to https://WhatTheNFT.co and pat yourself on the back for educating the world.

The downloads are in the size of your actual NFT. Our NFTs are 2000px by 2000px so can be printed up to 70cm by 70cm. You can go larger but it may look a little grainy. Or you can treat yourself to a fancy screen for your wall and have your NFTs going through a beautiful slideshow all with QR codes on that link straight to the Opensea - an extremely justified purchase haha.

**HAPPY WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY!**

The best way to see through the darkness is to focus on what can be the light we look to.

One of the things we mention and discuss frequently, is the power of what some call manifestation, others call laws of attraction - today we are going to call it **Focus Alignment** 

This exercise is intended to have its creators focus on one main question - **What does happiness and fulfillment look like?**

I believe that when something is defined as a goal, or in this case a way to bring a sense of fulfilment, it naturally brings that outcome into focus, meaning that all the decisions we make and conscious thoughts we have are geared towards that outcome and therefore become so much more powerful in their intentions because they have purpose.

A "Dream Board" is essentially a collection of images and words which represent the things you define (therefore identifying them and this in itself is a powerful movement of progress and development) as the ideal outcomes for each of the areas in your life - love, family, career, home, friendships etc. By creating a collage that is placed in regular view you bring those things into daily focus, therefore aligning your attention to be on the things that matter most and aid you in bringing those areas out of the dark and into the light of your view, just as they are worthy to be!

So with all that said, we would like to invite holders and non holders alike to create their very own Dream Board! 

In true NYB fashion, we are bringing prizes (in addition to the soul prize of the activity) to the table!

I'm super excited to announce the launch of something I've been building. For those of you who don't know, I closed the Digital Agency that I was operating prior to Not Your Bro (and now have some very sad ex-clients of mine) allowing me to focus on Web3 full time whilst Georgia manages our other businesses (in addition to her role as Co-Founder at NYB).
