Dear Goonz Family,

As I sit down to write this, my heart is full of mixed emotions. It’s been an incredible journey since I first joined as one of you back in November 2021. From creating content out of sheer passion for Sean's art to becoming the "Voice of the Goonz," every step has been nothing short of a dream.

I remember creating marketing assets for our first apparel collection. They might not have been up to our current standards (shoutout @​gilligan0 & @​_vanisher), but they were made with love. From content creator and moderator to the Voice after NFT NYC 2022, each role has been a chapter in this amazing story.

We’ve built something truly special—a tight-knit, authentic community that supports each other and never gives up. The strength of this foundation is something I’ll always cherish and be proud of. We all should be proud. You’ve all made this experience unforgettable.

Reflecting on my growth, both personally and professionally, is overwhelming. Shifting from medical school to the unpredictable blend of social media, blockchain tech, and fashion was a leap I never imagined taking. Yet, here I am, immensely grateful for every moment of it.

But now, it's time for me to take a step back. I will be relinquishing my equity within Goonz and moving into an advisory role. I trust this decision will help create flexibility for growth as we head into 2024.

Remember, "Always Never Give Up" and "Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop" are not just phrases; they are mantras we live by. I am not giving up, nor is the team. I'll still be around, ensuring a smooth transition and staying active in our community—perhaps in an even more fun and relaxed role.

What's next for me? I'm diving back into healthcare as the COO of a biotech focused on a new avenue of cancer therapeutics. It's an adventure I'm excited to embark on.

I can't express enough gratitude to @​jessefriedland, @​drewsifsoup, @​goatcloak , @​bk_42 , @​gilligan0 , @​_vanisher , and all of you in the Goonz community. The memories we've created and the bonds we've forged are treasures I’ll always hold dear.

So, here's to the future of Goonz World—I know it's gonna be f*ckin' sick! I'll be cheering on every step of the way.

Our app and the blockchain got out of sync when we were making some last minute edits to the end times. Due to the raffles being all on chain to ensure provable fairness and no tampering from anyone, I cannot fix the end times. So these two raffles have closed.

We acknowledge the need for adaptability in business, particularly in the ever-changing web3 landscape. We have also realized the importance of not setting long-term roadmaps that might prove inflexible. We will be mindful of our prior mistakes and do our best to keep you all looped in.

We are hopeful and energized by the attention true brands like Pudgy Penguins are receiving. 

You might be wondering, given our performance, why we would approach the community for additional funding. Our reasons are twofold:

1. Maintaining the standard  you've come to expect of Goonz requires considerable resources. It's a significant investment of both time and money to build something of this magnitude. Cash flow issues further complicate matters, increasing the potential for setbacks. We'll delve deeper into this during our upcoming call, mindful of the need to keep certain aspects confidential due to partnership payment terms.

2. It's true we've encountered challenges, and for those, we take full responsibility. However, we assure you, every team member is relentlessly dedicated to this endeavor, pouring their heart and soul into ensuring its success. We believe in our ability to thrive in diverse ways, though such things inevitably require time. We trust that our past actions demonstrate our commitment to what we've set out to accomplish since Nov 2021.

Goonz can't stop, but we can evaluate and adjust. We want to work through the below during tonight's community call:

**Preliminary Proposal Highlights**
Mission for Q2-4 is focused on growth and expansion. Key areas include:

__Web3__ 
Finalizing the marketplace, Proof of Goon (IYK) incentives, rewards, arts, partnerships, Goonz World App development. Goonz World may become multichain? 

__Apparel and Home Goods__
Improving production and fulfillment, stocking, seeding products to influencers, and collaborations.

We're planning events in Miami, NYC, LA, Art Basel, Syracuse, and San Diego.

__Stash Request__
We are requesting the $50k reimbursement from the Can't Stop, Won't Stop proposal **and** any remaining stash funds at the time of withdrawal approval. *To be clear*, we are requesting to not return the money we guaranteed to return in the last stash pull.

This will provide us the necessary operating capital to ensure sustainable growth. Our commitment to rebuild the stash will resume once a more stable business trajectory is established.

We are currently putting together our next proposal and look forward to discussing during tonight's community call. We encourage you to review any available information prior to the call.

**Reviewing Our Accomplishments**
Our collective efforts as a team and community are truly shaping the brand. Without you, not even a quarter of what's been accomplished would have been imaginable.

Our latest major proposal was moderately successful. However, our greatest shortcomings were on execution.

Let's review Q1's triumphs, hurdles and learnings.

__NFT LA *(on roadmap)*__
Made a significant impact, attracting new holders, establishing new partnerships, and distributing merchandise. One of the biggest splashes during that week.

__The Canvas Miami *(not on roadmap)*__
An exciting pop-up with Kanpai Pandas and DeGods/y00ts, soon to be a permanent shared storefront with Goonz physicals and events. 

__Draft Kings *(not on roadmap)*__
DK & UFC were pleased with the great marketing push. Most importantly, we hope you all had fun. More coming here.

__Goonz Cartoon *(on roadmap)*__
Our best example of building as a community. It has been the most fun to work on and will be incorporated into other aspects of Goonz.

__Market Place Stock *(on roadmap)*__
We've amassed over 50K (retail value) in finished products. New unreleased items, rare event physicals, and bulk stock of apparel are just a small part.

__Earning *(on roadmap)*__
The rollout experience and community art was incredible. The foundation of our Goonz World.

**The Hurdles** <:goongang:905129639222083654> 

__NFT NYC in April *(not on roadmap)*__
A spontaneous event that resulted in fantastic partnerships and experiences. 

Though Drew scored every time he hit the field, he was mostly on the sideline drinking water and eating kiddie food. Gotta refuel. Shoutout to all the Goonz who made it.

__ETH Denver *(on roadmap)*__
A fruitful networking opportunity, marred slightly by last-minute event inclusion and communication shortcomings. Worked on an incredible event with Jadyn Violet from Ultraviolet Rave.

__Market Place *(on roadmap)*__
This aspect remains a work in progress but is soon to roll out.

We've placed it as a hurdle because we simply have not executed on it. Until it is, it will remain our biggest failure as a team.

We promise, though, the wait will be worth it. Your continued patience is deeply appreciated. 

__NFT Paris *(on roadmap)*__
A missed opportunity due to logistical issues. Not a large roadmap item, but a failure nonetheless. We had someone lined up to represent us, but they became extremely ill.

**The Learnings** <:LFGOON:910256993309171742> 

__Rogue NFT NYC Projects *(on roadmap)*__
This plan fell through due to market changes. Interest from potential partners dried up. We should have been more diligent in keeping you in the loop. Executing on this would have been extremely expensive w/ limited upside.

Drew acknowledges that we should have announced this much sooner. Lots of time and effort were spent trying to coordinate something - valuable time that should have been used for the brand.

This money is now being allocated to a pop-up shop in an established streetwear store in San Diego during ComicCon, only a block away. The location receives foot traffic in the 1000s and will grant a higher ROI.

__Cash Flows__
We will touch on this more during the call.

Due to efforts to maximize returns to the stash, our cash flows were hindered which caused us to miss some opportunities.

__Apparel Drops__
Q1 was below our set standards in this aspect, large in part due to the hindered cash flows, and we will be rectifying it moving forward.
